We're off to a great start for National Truck Driver Appreciation Week! This is a week dedicated to nationally recognize our country's professional truck drivers. It's an opportunity to thank them for their hard work and commitment in taking on such a challenging and important job.
While Tax-Air's appreciation for our amazing drivers never stops, we try to put extra emphasis on it this week. We have activities and gifts planned for the rest of the week. Stay tuned to see more! And most importantly, don't forget to thank a driver!

Today is a bittersweet day at Tax-Air. Maureen (Franklin Park, IL General Manager) has spent nearly 13 years with Tax-Air and it is unfortunately time for her to embark on another journey.
Maureen started with Tax-Air in 2005 as a Customer Care Specialist. Over the years, her career trajectory took off as she took on multiple roles at our Illinois terminal. She finally took the position of General Manager and helped make the Franklin Park location the well-oiled machine it is today. Maureen has cultivated a work culture for her employees that has made her an incredibly respected leader. Her contributions to both her team and the company cannot be given enough thanks.
We had a farewell party for Maureen yesterday and took some time to celebrate her career at Tax-Air and to thank her for all she has done for the organization. Members of the local TSA office even stopped by to wish her the best and award her with a U.S. Department of Homeland Security coin for all her hard work in the airfreight business. Food was had, laughs were shared, and lots of hugs will be remembered.
Maureen has her Tax-Air family and her real family. She plans to venture to the other side of the country to be closer to her family and we couldn’t be happier for her. Maureen, thank you for your years of service and dedication. You are a prime example of what makes Tax-Air so great.

A very heartwarming event took place this past weekend and we are truly honored to have been involved.
Dakota is a 16-year-old boy from Milton, Wisconsin. Dakota, also known as "Bubba," has a passion for semi-trucks. He sits outside of his home and waves to drivers as they pass in hopes to get a honk or two. One day, a particular driver threw Bubba a gift bag containing some merchandise from the company he drove for. Bubba's adoptive mother posted about the encounter on Facebook and from that day on, a magical collaboration took place. For Bubba's birthday, truck drivers in the community rallied together to throw him a surprise party.
182 trucks and drivers showed up on Saturday, one of which being Tax-Air's very own, Craig (Windsor, WI driver). Craig came across the event and took it upon himself out of the kindness of his heart to participate. Hans (Windsor General Manager) and his son stopped by as well to show their support and snap some photos.
Craig, from all of us at Tax-Air, thank you for taking your Tax-Air truck to the event and thank you even more for having such a warm heart. For any of those interested in watching the segment from Fox 47, please click the link below.

Package tracking (or package logging) is the process of localizing shipping containers, mail and parcel post at different points of time during sorting, warehousing, and package delivery to verify their provenance and to predict and aid delivery.
Package tracking developed historically because it provided customers information about the route of a package and the anticipated date and time of delivery. This was important because mail delivery often included multiple couriers in varying environmental circumstances, which made it possible for a mail to get lost.
Track a PKG offers a quick way to track trace your package. It contains most of the global couriers as well as local shipping providers and post/EMS companies. If you don't find your shipping courier, please contact us so that we add it to the service. To track and trace a package, use the forms in the top of this page.
