After having focused on IT development and general changes, Blue Water Aalborg has decided to focus on the successes and share them with the staff in Aalborg and Frederikshavn. That is why this custom-made “success ball” display has been introduced.
“The idea is that any employee can write down a success story on one of the balls and put it in the display. Each month, a ‘winner’ will be decided by lot and this story will be shared with all the colleagues. Also the winner will receive a small present”, says Lars Frost Andreasen, Director for Blue Water Aalborg and Frederikshavn.
Also, the stories which end up in the display will be shared internally.

Yesterday, it was time for the traditional Christmas arrangement for employees and their families in Esbjerg.
There were plenty of smiling faces when Santa Claus suddenly turned up with presents for the children.
In return, the children promised to behave well for the rest of the year 😊
A great arrangement for both adults and children.

Our former colleague Thorbjørn C. Pedersen has embarked on a great adventure.
His aim is to visit all countries in the world without flying – nobody has ever done that before.
His mission is called Once Upon a Saga.
To fulfil his mission of visiting all the countries in the world, Thorbjørn must spend at least 24 hours in each country – and he will not return to Denmark until his mission is fulfilled.
We wish you all the best on your trip Thorbjørn :-)

The minister of Foreign Affairs, Anders Samuelsen, recently visited our office in Copenhagen as we hosted an arrangement focusing on trade agreements, freight volumes and growth.
Both our colleagues and clients had a chance to ask Anders Samuelsen questions. He willingly answered questions about free trade agreements with Canada, Vietnam and Ghana, the Czech economy, Brexit and the positive results of years of aid to developing countries.
It was a learning experience and an exciting day.

On 4.10, Federal Business Centers, the business park where Blue Water’s New Jersey office (New York) is located, sponsored their fifth Annual Fun Walk to raise awareness for Breast Cancer.
It was a one-mile walk where employees of local businesses came out to walk in support of a great cause.
Federal Business Centers made a donation to the American Cancer Society on behalf of every person who walked. It was a beautiful day, and five of the Blue Water staff members joined in the walk.

23 Norwegian Blue Water employees spent a weekend together and went on a hiking adventure on one of Norway’s famous mountains, Jotunheimen and across the Besseggen Ridge.
They have sent us a few photos from their hike.
The sun was shining, there was hardly any wind and the hikers showed great spirit. When looking at the view and surroundings, it is easy to see why they are smiling :-)

A safe workplace is one of Blue Water’s highest priorities. That is why our Port Services Division from Esbjerg recently completed a two-day course in first aid.
Today, our clients expect that our employees are well trained within safety and safety awareness. Particularly within the field of transporting wind turbines and wind turbine components as the slightest deviation when loading the gigantic components can be catastrophic.
Here are a few photos from the course. And not to worry - everyone is okay :-)

Package tracking (or package logging) is the process of localizing shipping containers, mail and parcel post at different points of time during sorting, warehousing, and package delivery to verify their provenance and to predict and aid delivery.
Package tracking developed historically because it provided customers information about the route of a package and the anticipated date and time of delivery. This was important because mail delivery often included multiple couriers in varying environmental circumstances, which made it possible for a mail to get lost.
Track a PKG offers a quick way to track trace your package. It contains most of the global couriers as well as local shipping providers and post/EMS companies. If you don't find your shipping courier, please contact us so that we add it to the service. To track and trace a package, use the forms in the top of this page.
