On 4.10, Federal Business Centers, the business park where Blue Water’s New Jersey office (New York) is located, sponsored their fifth Annual Fun Walk to raise awareness for Breast Cancer.
It was a one-mile walk where employees of local businesses came out to walk in support of a great cause.
Federal Business Centers made a donation to the American Cancer Society on behalf of every person who walked. It was a beautiful day, and five of the Blue Water staff members joined in the walk.

23 Norwegian Blue Water employees spent a weekend together and went on a hiking adventure on one of Norway’s famous mountains, Jotunheimen and across the Besseggen Ridge.
They have sent us a few photos from their hike.
The sun was shining, there was hardly any wind and the hikers showed great spirit. When looking at the view and surroundings, it is easy to see why they are smiling :-)

A safe workplace is one of Blue Water’s highest priorities. That is why our Port Services Division from Esbjerg recently completed a two-day course in first aid.
Today, our clients expect that our employees are well trained within safety and safety awareness. Particularly within the field of transporting wind turbines and wind turbine components as the slightest deviation when loading the gigantic components can be catastrophic.
Here are a few photos from the course. And not to worry - everyone is okay :-)

News from ”Lima”
The three young lads, Hans, Nikolai and Mads, started their journey from Sonderborg, Denmark towards the Mediterranean in the beginning of June. They have now travelled more than 500 nautical miles and are already rich in experiences.
As their proud sponsor, we have received news from the boys about the first part of their journey.
They sailed from Sonderborg through the Kiel Canal, on the Elbe to Delfzil in Holland and through the canals to Amsterdam where they had quite a surprising morning as a German captain collided with their ship in the port. The rude awakening happened early in the morning. Luckily, their ship only suffered minor damages so the boysf could easily continue their journey.
“We continued to Zeebrugge in Belgium and from there to Calais in France where we were lucky enough to attend a music festival. We stayed in Zeebrugge for a couple of days before we set the course for England across the Channel. It was a bit tough, although the traffic was not nearly as bad as we had expected”, says Nikolaj Bie Rasmussen.
The boys sailed to England for specific reasons – as they have met and made friends with a guy from England during their trip.
“We have met this great guy, Johannes. He invited us to Brighton and that is why we are visiting. He is an experienced sailor and has taught us a lot so far. Now, he wants to show us what a real English pub looks like”, says Hans Kobberø.
How the boys will continue their journey, has not been planned yet. We are looking forward to receiving news from them again.

Monday 5 June, friends and family said bon voyage to Mads Ahrenkiel, Nikolaj Bie Rasmussen and Hans Kobberø and sent them off on a great adventure.
The guys know each other from school and decided to see the world by sea as an alternative to backpacking. The guys have now shaped their course for the Mediterranean.
Before their departure, they have prepared themselves well for the trip by taking various courses. Also, they have spent almost all their free time preparing their boat for the trip. Blue Water Sønderborg has backed the adventurous guys financially so they can fulfil their dream.
“We haven’t made many plans. Basically, we know which route we want to travel, but we naturally respect the sea. Part of our aim with the trip is to meet the local people. Hopefully they will give us some advice on where to go”, says Hans Kobberø.
The guys have promised us that they will send us some updates from their trip. We will be waiting anxiously to hear from them. Have a nice trip guys.

The local kindergarten Mikisoq has paid our colleagues in Nuuk a visit.
It seemed as if it was an exciting experience for the children.
During their visit, they had a chance to sit in a forklift and one of Blue Waters trucks.
Maybe there is a future employee among the visitors :-)
They all received a cap as a token of appreciation for their visit.
As the photo shows the children enjoyed the visit.

Our IT department is used to visiting colleagues all over the world.
The IT specialists visit the foreign offices and do their best to make all systems run smoothly. IT is a determining factor for transport and logistics today. Therefore, it is important that the configuration is in place at all offices.
Right now, three of our colleagues from the IT department in Esbjerg are visiting our office in the French city of Marseille. In addition to the work in Marseille, all colleagues have also had time to enjoy some time together outside the office.
As a bonus information, we are pleased to announce that Heins – the handsome guy standing to the left – will celebrate his 10 th jubilee with Blue Water on 26 March.
Congratulations to Heins

Package tracking (or package logging) is the process of localizing shipping containers, mail and parcel post at different points of time during sorting, warehousing, and package delivery to verify their provenance and to predict and aid delivery.
Package tracking developed historically because it provided customers information about the route of a package and the anticipated date and time of delivery. This was important because mail delivery often included multiple couriers in varying environmental circumstances, which made it possible for a mail to get lost.
Track a PKG offers a quick way to track trace your package. It contains most of the global couriers as well as local shipping providers and post/EMS companies. If you don't find your shipping courier, please contact us so that we add it to the service. To track and trace a package, use the forms in the top of this page.
